A tour of the Bled area, which includes predominantly flat and some varied terrain. We will pass through a few neighbouring villages and end the day with a view of the lake. The afternoon will be spent visiting the main tourist attraction around Lake Bled.
A van will take us up to the Pokljuka Plateau where we will cycle across its pristine natural splendour. Pokljuka is situated in the Triglav National Park and is a popular destination for cyclists, hikers and cross-country skiers. The gravel roads are well-maintained and traffic is virtually non-existent.
Our destination on the third day is Jelovica. An even less touristy plateau with gravel trails for excellent off-road cycling. Cycling through endless forests rewards you with surreal open views of the Alps and lush valleys below.
