It can be reached within 20 minutes by car from Ljubljana, followed by a 7-minute gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Krvavec is ideal because it comes with a nice balance of easy blue and green runs as well as some fantastic red and black pistes for the adrenaline seekers among you. Situated above the 2000 m mark, Krvavec ensures a very long ski season that stretches from December to early April. Tailor made

7 days, 6 wonderful ski resorts, unlimited opportunities for some incredible snowy fun on the best slopes in Slovenian. A ski safari is all about diversity and Slovenian ski resorts are as diverse as it gets. Not only in terms of the facilities they offer, but the locations they’re situated in. This ski package offers you an amazing ski safari experience. Stationed in a 4-star hotel in the capital city of Ljubljana, your daily ski destinations will be just an hour or two away.

You’ll start off by visiting Krvavec, a stunning resort on the outskirts of Ljubljana. It’s the closest ski resort to any international airport in Europe and due to its proximity to Ljubljana it can almost be called an urban ski resort. The surrounding natural environment proves otherwise - pure serenity. Krvavec is also great for kids, as it has a children’s park with obstacles and varied terrain. Slightly further south, you’ll hit the runs at the resorts of Cerkno and Soriška Planina, located on the border between the mountainous and coastal regions of Slovenia. The diversity of terrain and the views are incredible.

Next you’ll explore the majestic Alpine region. Kranjska Gora is not only superb for skiers of all levels, but is also buzzing with life, as it’s Slovenia’s main sports hub. Heading up to the highest ski resort of Sella Nevea-Kanin that presents you with breath-taking panoramic views of the mountains. Your skiing adventure will end with a bang at Italy’s Tarvisio–Monte Lussari for some night skiing.

Everytime you return to Ljubljana, après-ski opportunities are ample to say the least. Whether it’s exploring historic sites, enjoying cultural events, attending concerts or going wild at all-night parties – Ljubljana has you covered. All in all, you can look forward to the best skiing experience this side of the Alps that will certainly leave you with the desire to come back for more.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a single traveller, how can I book?

Don’t worry, just drop us a line in our inbox. We will do our best to try and find you some company, so if you are flexible in your travel dates, let us know as well. Do you want a private trip? No problem, we got you covered too.

Why is the accommodation not specified?

We are always looking for the perfect fit for you. We use a few different accommodation providers that fit our standards but they are subjected to availability, especially in the high season. We loved how diverse this holiday was. Each day we visited a different resort and they all have something special to offer. Interestingly, for such a small area. In the valley there was almost no snow unfortunately, but Ljubljana still has a nice winter vibe.

Great props to all the guides on this tour, they made this trip so much better then it would be if we went alone. Local knowledge, restaurant recommendations and even ski piste selection is what part this holiday from a regular one. Thank you guys!

It was awesome how many times there was terrible weather in the valley but then we lifted up with a gondola above the clouds - felt like on an island in the sea. The resorts in Slovenia are nicely maintained and even if not on the larger side they offer enough diversity for a full week of skiing.
