The guesthouse preserves classic regional architecture and is situated in a peaceful location right in the heart of Lake Bled’s spellbinding surroundings, with a beautiful Alpine backdrop. Bled’s city centre and the lake itself are only a 3-minute walk away.
At Penzion Berc, spacious, air-conditioned, and extremely comfortable rooms are equipped with modern facilities that promise a very comfy and homely stay. Traditional yet modern, the rooms are decorated in rustic style, with plenty of woodwork and top-grade furniture. Each room comes with a balcony with lovely views.

The hotel’s restaurant tradition is based on domestic, local, Slovenian products and ingredients. Their chefs follow strict rules of flavour authenticity and refrain from using any artificial additives. Wines are Carefully selected, with more than 120 labels of varying vintages from renowned global wine regions. The 150-year-old farm house houses nostalgically furnished dining rooms with live piano music. During warmer months, guests are invited to dine among the flower outside.

Slovenia Holidays / World Discovery ( travel agent Grega) arranged a one week travel program for us in Slovenia, combining our own wishes of some hiking and nature experiences, some sea-, city- and country-side visits and his own suggestions (Ljubljana food tour, Planina cave spelunking with personal guide, etc.). The process around customising the itinerary and perfecting it went very smooth. He arranged tickets, guides and a rental car, all accessible through a neat app, and the plan turned out to fit very well, including a rental car upgrade to accommodate larger then anticipated suitcases. We had not heard so much about Slovenia beforehand, but it is amazing, as are its people, food, culture and not least its diverse nature, its exceptional gorges and caves.
