If you want a head start on your day, hike up a hill in the early morning and watch the sun rise above Lake Bled. After breakfast, pack your skis and head out for some cross-country skiing at Pokljuka Plateau. The center is home to the annual Biathlon World Cup event, so whether you are an experienced skier or just beginning, there is something out here for everyone!
Upon returning to Bled, visitors can choose to see more of the lake’s surrounding sights, including Bled Castle.

Snowshoeing on Bohinj’s snow-covered trails is a fantastic way to explore the Julian Alps. After reaching the Vogel ski resort by cable car, your guide will walk you along the paths leading to the top of the resort. In the morning, you can stroll through the authentic Alpine village in the town’s center or just enjoy the mountain vista encircling the lowlands.
