The Krvavec ski resort is the largest of its kind in Slovenia. It offers more than 25 km of excellent pistes, covering an area of 110 ha. It can be reached within 20 minutes by car from Ljubljana, followed by a 7-minute gondola ride to the top of the mountain. Krvavec is ideal because it comes with a nice balance of easy blue and green runs as well as some fantastic red and black pistes for the adrenaline seekers among you.
Situated above the 1500 m mark, Krvavec ensures a very long ski season that stretches from December to early April. It is considered a sunny resort and the views above the cloud line are out of this world. On slightly cloudy days, you even get the illusion of skiing on an island in the sky.

Soriška planina lies on the border between the Primorska and Gorenjska regions, located in the southwestern part of the country at an altitude between 1,287 m and 1,550 m. There are five lifts operating within the ski resort, which offer awesome panoramic views.
In addition to Alpine skiing on its 10 km of ski trails, you can also enjoy backcountry skiing and cross-country skiing on well-maintained trails that run through the forests of Jelovica, as well as sledding, snowshoeing, and winter hiking, making Soriška planina a truly incredible wintertime experience.

The Kranjska Gora ski resort is perched in the stunning embrace of the Julian Alps. Famous for its accessibility, all the slopes in this ski resort are conveniently located on the edge of town. There are 20 km of skiing and snowboarding slopes for varying difficulty.
Kranjska Gora is the best winter sports hub in Slovenia. It annually hosts the slalom and giant slalom of the Alpine Skiing World Cup while the nearby Tamar Valley, a superb cross-country skiing area, also hosts ski jumping competitions at Planica.

The Sella Nevea-Kanin ski resort is the highest in the country and the first cross-border ski center in Europe. Its altitude of 2,300 meters ensures skiing conditions remain good until spring. Mt. Kanin is a cable car ride from the town of Bovec.
The slopes are accompanied by dramatic rocky outcrops and mesmerizing views which on a clear day can stretch all the way to the Adriatic. Sella Nevea-Kanin’s 30 km of slopes present you with excellent skiing in surroundings that can only be described as magical.
