Weather permitting, we will make sure you get to experience the most popular event in Ljubljana - the Open Kitchen. A bustling array of different, including high-end restaurants, serves street food at the markets every Friday, as long as it is not raining.

What better way to get to know local cuisine than learning to make it yourself? On this day, we will organise a cooking workshop where you can be as involved as you’d like in preparing your own traditional Slovenian meal. After some “hard work”, there is nothing like a refreshing drink, so we will head to the only distillery in Ljubljana, where we will not only learn about their production but taste some of their delicious gin cocktails.
A visit to Ljubljana should include the ever popular Ljubljana Castle, but we will not go up there just for the views. It has some great exhibitions and even greater restaurants. You can opt for a culinary delight at one of the best restaurants in Ljubljana. In the afternoon, we will wrap things up with wine tasting and introduce you to the superb world of Slovenian wines.
