Description
If you would like to combine a relaxing holiday with some amazing skiing, this package is right up your alley.
Ljubljana is a lively subalpine capital with an incredible history, a rich cultural heritage, and a nightlife most certainly worth indulging in. It has the laid-back vibe of a small town with all the perks of a modern city. And as far as skiing goes, you couldn’t pick a more convenient location.
One of Slovenia’s best ski resorts is right next door. Krvavec is the closest ski resort to an international airport and one of the closest (30 min drive) from a European capital city. Despite its proximity to Ljubljana, Krvavec is located in a pristine Alpine environment with stunning views of the mountainous landscape. On a sunny day, you’re able to see the country’s highest mountain, Mt. Triglav, and when thick fog descends on the valley, it gives you the illusion of skiing on an island in the clouds.
This ski resort prides itself on excellent training grounds for kids and a variety of other activities for intermediates and pros, including jumps, snowbiking, and night sledding. Krvavec also has superb natural and artificial snow conditions, allowing the season to stretch well into late April.
Have a blast on the snow one minute and stroll around Europe’s most beautiful capitals the next. This ski break will give you ample opportunities to practice your skiing, go sightseeing, learn something new, and recharge your batteries – all in one.

Our tour caters for a wide age range, typically between 30 and 60 years old, but age is simply a state of mind, as they say, and we welcome anyone over the age of 18! Tours are designed at your own pace and you will enjoy no matter what your age. Each evening your guides will chat with you about the following day’s activities and give you an idea of the sorts of trails you can look forward to. If there’s anything you feel anxious about, your guides will be happy to discuss it with you.
Many of our travelers join as singles. We charge single supplement fee to solo travelers for single room use. But don’t worry, we can pair you with another traveler of the same gender if you like.
Ski Holidays Slovenia don’t require any specific fitness level from you. You will chose your own pace, style of skiing and ski slopes you prefer. If you don’t feel comfortable skiing on your own we suggest taking our ski school program, where you will ski in a group with a ski instructor and make the best progress.
Where the meals are included in the itineraries they are in a group setting. Your guide will also be with you during these scheduled meals.
