Tolmin Gorges
Description
The Tolmin gorges are the lowest and southernmost entry point into the Triglav National Park and share in the region’s outstanding beauty. Commonly known as the Tolminka and Zadlaščica Gorges, these places are among the most scenic destinations in the Tolmin area. The circular hiking path leading through these wild gorges should be high on any avid hiker’s bucket list. A journey into this hidden paradise includes the Bear’s Head, a natural bridge created by a fallen rock that got stuck between the gorge’s walls and a thermal spring that appears in a small cave under the 60-metre high Devil’s Bridge.
